Home Alone

Ryan is pulling duty tonight and won't be home until tomorrow morning. We have been pretty spoiled during our assignment at Fort Rucker. Aside from a week at Talladega, his current job brings him home every night.

When we lived in Texas, we had grown very accustomed to Ryan's absence due to his military commitments and here is a list of some of the things the kids and I normally do when I am the only adult in the house:

-We eat canned soup for dinner.
-I watch a movie with subtitles (tonight it will be "Volver")
-I wear mismatched pajamas.
-Jared gets to play in the backyard wearing only his underwear.
-We add to Daddy's to-do list upon his return (as of now, this list includes taking the
kids bowling, cleaning up Clifford's mess in the backyard, and playing a video game.)
