My friend Jennifer had a cute blog posting of her family's trip to the drive-in. It was adorable, therefore inspiring me to bring my camera along on our family's latest trip to the drive-in. We have been to the drive-in a few times both in Texas and Alabama (some trips were successful, others were a comedy of errors) and I have my own memories of going to the drive-in with my family, wearing my pajamas and eating popcorn in the back of the truck ( I specifically remember watching "Gremlins).
Well, I just downloaded the pictures we took the other night (we saw "Shrek the Third') and they aren't as nostalgic and sweet as I thought they would be. Actually, our little family looks a bit redneck-ish. I revisited my friend's posting of her family's trip to the drive-in and her family looks adorable. We look like we belong on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. You be the judge:
