Today Kaci and I tagged along on Jared's "Strawberry Picking" field trip. It was very picturesque, but I was the loser mom who forgot her camera and therefore have no sweet pictures of my kids with their cute baskets and strawberry-stained face on this beautiful spring day.
Later that day, Jared played his last game of soccer for this season. As you can tell by this picture, he really wasn't that great of a soccer player! Ryan has definitely improved on his coaching skills since he helped coach Little League 9 years ago-- he didn't jump on any fences this time! Seriously, I didn't know he had it in him to be so patient and silly with a bunch of 4 year olds. And while Ryan spent his time running up and down the field coaching and Jared spent his time pretending to be bird, I spent my time keeping Kaci from running on the field.
