Pet Peeve!!!

Before I start updating this blog, I will set the scene. In order to avoid the work that I have to do, I am sitting here on the computer and the kids are in the other room watching "The Incredibles". I was flipping through the channels and came across the CMT reality show, "I Want To Look Like a High School Cheerleader, Again". Now, I am a fan of reality TV and I know that there are many that perpetuate bad stereotypes, so I am not going to go into a preachy rant, but don't these 3o-something year old women know that their bodies were not finished growing when they were a 16-year old cheerleader? So I have been trying to pay attention to it to see if there is going to be more to the show then just aiming to look like a 16 year old version of themselves--maybe some inspirational, tear jerking, rip off of Biggest Loser kind of thing, but I don't think so. These women are totally average sized and I am annoyed that they are seriously talking about looking like their high school cheerleader picture. Just another pet peeve!
